Shower Screens General Information
All our shower screen panels are custom-made to the exact specifications of your space, taking into consideration functionality and style.
Fixed panel showers start from $850 including installation – and most designs can be quoted over the phone or email using your photos or plans. Alternatively, you can ask about our in-house design consultations.
At Greater Glass, we guarantee your new frameless shower screen will be installed within 10 working days from receipt of your deposit. Our licensed expert installers typically take between 1-3 hours to install, depending on the location of your shower in your home and the complexity of the design.
To assist with installation, please ensure the shower area is completely dry on the day, as this is crucial for the silicone to properly adhere to the surfaces. For best results, your shower should not be used for 24-48 hours after installation to allow the silicone to properly cure.
Please note that for safety reasons, our installers cannot remove their shoes during installation. However, they can wear shoe covers to protect your floors from any dirt on request.
It’s important to note that our frameless shower screens are not completely sealed, meaning minor water spillage is normal. The placement of the shower head and other factors will affect the amount of spillage. If you’re building a new bathroom, speak with your builder to help design the best shower layout for your home.

Shelves
At Greater Glass, we offer a variety of clear glass and ultra-clear safety glass shelves – the perfect complement to your new shower screen. Several standard shapes are available, or we can custom-make your glass shelf to your exact specifications.
Waterflaps
This easy-to-fit clear plastic flap can be positioned at the bottom of your shower screen door to redirect water running down the glass back into the shower. We offer water flaps suitable for both 6mm and 10mm shower glass.
Waterbars
Depending on the fall and design of your bathroom floor, a water bar can be installed on the floor beneath the door to help prevent water spillage. These metal bars come in many colour finishes to suit your shower’s design and style.
EnduroShield
EnduroShield is a permanent, one-time treatment that provides your shower glass with a non-stick, water-repellent coating similar to Teflon®. This coating prevents soiling, oil contamination, discolouration and general deterioration of treated surfaces. With EnduroShield, cleaning your shower becomes effortless – ensuring your investment is protected for years to come.

We back our products and services with a 5-year guarantee on all hardware and workmanship. This means that if any issue arises with one of our shower screens due to workmanship or hardware within five years of installation, we will resolve the problem quickly and efficiently.
Please note that our guarantee does not cover glass breakage or scratches due to the fragile nature of glass. Additionally, while we take utmost care regarding plumbing behind walls and tiles, we cannot be held responsible for any unknown pre-existing conditions that might affect the new installation.
Finally, be aware that wall movement is not uncommon. Although our guarantee covers workmanship and hardware, we cannot cover maintenance costs resulting from wall movement. In such cases, a standard call-out fee will apply for hinge adjustments to accommodate the new wall shape.
